An Evening off From Mankind
It started roughly a decade ago.
Serenity and togetherness with nature; It is a blessing.
Sitting on a bench, a lake nearby.
The golden sunset left the spark of enlightenment.
Indeed! It was going down, but promising to come up again.
Pledging to die and giving life to a new day.
Birds were packing up, flying back to a peaceful roost.
Some glad for the sun’s death, some ready to mourn.
But it was still stood with a golden outlining over the sky.
Reckless about everything and glorifying the beauty of the universe.
A bunch of clouds came across to cover up the golden sun.
Wind blowing around made me more anxious.
I was assuming everything was going against it.
But I forgot for a while, it is the sun;
who kindles up everything and put lives back to tiers.
In the meantime.
It passed away!
